"yeah it sucks, you are only going to be able to play for 25 minutes now because the sound guy is late and we cant change the schedule" For most bands, this would be a problem, a big problem. For The Athiarchists, we will fit a 45 minute set into 25 minutes, while at the same time opening the show up like its never been opened before, leaving the audience in awe, as well as the next band going on wondering how they are going to keep the energy level up. We play an average of 12-14 shows a month throuought the state of Oregon, with a West Coast tour planned for the beginning of 2007. We dont complain about going first, we dont complain about going last when everyone has gone home. We are the band that shows up at the last minute because another band dropped out and didnt even call. We give away our music for free. We only play music because we live for it. We are self produced, self marketed, and self distributed hardcore thrash metal with elements of punk. We are the true defenition of what other bands try and claim to be. A 2 piece that brings it heavier and harder than most 4 piece bands out there. The Athiarchists play marathon sets that leave you questioning authority in every way possible by the end of the set. Hardcore music with heavy clear vocals, and a clear message.
